My boyfriend and I spent a few days in Vancouver last week. I had to travel there for work so we decided to turn it into a mini-vacation. We had an awesome time exploring the city, walking everywhere and biking miles around Stanley Park. We were so active that I had low blood sugar more than high. The day after I got back to LA and returned to my desk job, though, my blood sugar remained stubbornly high. It’s incredible how much being active versus sedentary affects me – even in just one day.
