Regardless of the number of carbs I consume at dinner, I tend to have higher blood sugar readings in the evenings. That’s why I’m so thankful for my miracle in a bottle – red wine. I had read that red wine lowers blood sugar and am thrilled that it seems to be doing the trick for me. (I have to drink in moderation, of course, because too much alcohol can cause hypoglycemia.) Finally a remedy I can get excited about!
